Another flourishing area for artists is the Durban North area, north of the Umgeni River. Get a map from either Tourist Junction or the Umhlanga Rocks Publicity Association and follow the signs!
|
| The Architectural Meander
Take in some of Durban's more interesting buildings.
|
| The Berea Meander
The 'Berea' is the range of hills on the inland side of Durban and is a good landmark from where to judge where you are in Durban. It is also the home of many artists and craftspeople. Between 10.00 and 17.30 on the first Sunday of the month, they are 'at home' to you. Use your own transport to see them at work.
