The park contains scrub, woodland and riverine bush habitats that are home to nyala, hyaena, giraffe, impala, kudu, leopard, baboons, monkeys, warthog, rhino and many others. More 200 species of bird have been recorded.
More than 60km of tourists roads are available for game viewing and accompanied walking trails allow visitors to get close to numbers of game species. There are also picnic and view sites.
Accommodation is provided in self catering cabins and 'game on the spit' braais are available. Conferences for up to 30 people can be arranged.
