Website Maintenance Options

One of the many things that drive visitors away from websites is outdated design and out of date, stale content.

Content should be reviewed at no greater interval than every three months and website owners should look at a complete redesign biannually. Search engines eventually stop indexing websites that never change. We offer four options:

Our Website Hosting/Maintenance Package

This is the choice of most clients because it includes a multitude of services in a single package.

1. Hosting of Your Website

The typical hosting package consists of:

  • 5MB Disc Space
  • 500MB of data transfer (bandwidth) per month
  • 5 mail boxes (to set up yourself if required)
  • 25 email aliases
  • Webmail (like Hotmail)
  • Virus scanning of incoming emails
  • Spam filtering
  • Browser-based Control Panel including:
    • Email setup
    • Spam filtering controls
    • Full site traffic statistics - number of visitors, where from, keywords used to find you etc.
    • Details of bandwidth/disc space used
  • Web server with daily backups located either in South Africa or Germany

There is a once-off server setup fee of R450.00.

2. Maintenance consisting of:

  • Insertion of small amounts of new website content including photographs.
  • Tidying up of the code.
  • Checking on your site ranking in Google
  • Checking on search terms used by your competition
  • Refreshing search engine terms where necessary.

Domain Registration

The choice of a domain name is important and can affect the ultimate performace of your website. We can see what domains are still free and make useful suggestions.

Domain Registration: R400.00

Cost from: R300.00 per month or R3,300.00 annually - saves one month - (prices subject to change)


On Demand website Maintenance

Contact us with the new material and we will insert it into your pages.

Cost: R350.00 per page


Self website Maintenance (HTML)

We can teach delegated members of staff how to edit HTML and to upload the new pages to the server.

Cost: R250.00 per hour + expenses


Self website Maintenance (.php)

We can install a content management system to drive your website, which can then be updated through your browser.

Cost: R750.00
